Support for Autoimmune & Immune-mediated Inflammatory
Diseases

Why Autoimmune Support Matters
Autoimmune conditions can feel overwhelming, but with the right support, it’s possible to calm inflammation, restore balance, and regain quality of life. Using evidence-based strategies and advanced training, I help uncover the root drivers of autoimmunity and provide personalised care tailored to you.
Autoimmune conditions occur when the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own tissues. These conditions are complex, often involving multiple systems in the body, and their impacts can extend far beyond the area first affected. Importantly, research shows that once a person develops one autoimmune condition, they are at a significantly higher risk of developing another. This makes early and ongoing support essential for protecting long-term health and wellbeing.
How I Can Help
Through a six month mentorship with Dr Brad Leech, a leading educator in autoimmune health, and an ongoing practitioner mentorship with Tara Nelson which focuses specifically on thyroid health, I have undertaken advanced training across a broad range of thyroid conditions, including hyperthyroidism, Graves’ disease, hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s, thyroid nodules and post-thyroidectomy care. My training also encompasses the wider symptoms and health concerns that can accompany thyroid and autoimmune conditions, including anxiety, fatigue and exhaustion, elevated cholesterol, dry skin, brittle nails, hair changes and other metabolic and hormonal imbalances.

The Four Key Drivers of Autoimmune Disease
Scientific research highlights four primary factors that contribute to the development and progression of autoimmune disease:
-
Chronic Inflammation – Ongoing systemic inflammation fuels tissue damage and worsens autoimmune activity.
-
Increased Intestinal Permeability (“Leaky Gut”) – A compromised gut barrier allows immune triggers such as toxins, bacteria, and food antigens to activate the immune system.
-
Immune Dysregulation – The immune system becomes overactive and loses tolerance to the body’s own tissues.
-
Gut Dysbiosis – Imbalances in the gut microbiome promote inflammation, disrupt immune balance, and perpetuate autoimmunity.
By addressing each of these core drivers, it is possible to calm the immune response, support tissue healing, and improve resilience.
